Adult Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment

Adult Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment

Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment for Adults

Our inpatient mental health treatment is designed with the individual in mind. The dedicated staff at Turning Point Care Center helps each person recover from an acute mental health issue through our acute inpatient care services.

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year. That is close to 53 million adults. 1 in 20 U.S. adults experience serious mental illness. With that said, it’s important to have mental health services accessible to those who are in need.

Mental Health and Overall Health

Studies show that mental health issues can have a ripple effect on general health. People with depression have a 40% higher risk of developing cardiovascular and metabolic diseases than the general population. People with serious mental illness are nearly twice as likely to develop these conditions.

Turning Point Care Center is here to help. Our inpatient psychiatric program provides around-the-clock treatment and the tools, skills and education necessary to start their recovery.

At Turning Point Care Center, our priority is to provide a secure and respectful treatment environment that allows patients to recover from acute episodes and improve their functioning while maintaining their dignity.
