Inpatient Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Programs

Inpatient programs at Turning Point Care Center are designed to provide each individual with the tools, skills and education necessary to start the journey to recovery. The dedicated staff at our facility are here to help you with our psychiatric and substance abuse inpatient programs.

Inpatient Programs at Turning Point

As part of the beginning of our continuum of care, individuals can start their recovery journey with our inpatient programs. This level of care provides around-the-clock treatment to men and women coping with psychiatric disorders, chemical dependency or a dual diagnosis of both.

Detox and Rehab

Inpatient detox is approached by using the most effective medications available to help reduce the uncomfortable and unpleasant withdrawal symptoms which often prevent patients from seeking addiction treatment from drugs or alcohol.

According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, close to 20 million people aged 18 and older struggle with substance use disorder yearly. The inpatient substance abuse treatment program at Turning Point Care Center can help with the journey of living an addiction-free lifestyle.

Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment

We also provide acute psychiatric treatment and acute inpatient care for patients experiencing a mental health crisis.

During inpatient psychiatric care, patients abide by a daily treatment schedule, utilizing group therapy sessions, including individual sessions, psychoeducation, recreational therapy and more. Free time and breaks are scheduled and meals are provided.

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness:

  • 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year
  • 1 in 20 U.S. adults experience serious mental illness each year
  • 50% of all lifetime mental illness begins by age 14, and 75% by age 24

Mental health illnesses impact day-to-day living and may also affect the ability to relate to others. That is why it is important to seek inpatient mental health treatment if you or a loved one struggle with mental health.

Acute inpatient hospitalization at Turning Point Care Center is for individuals who need mental health and acute inpatient care in a time of crisis.
