About Turning Point

For more than 30 years, Turning Point has provided substance abuse and behavioral health treatment. Turning Point is committed to providing outstanding care in an atmosphere that encourages healing and personal growth.

Located in the rural community of Moultrie, Georgia, Turning Point offers inpatient and outpatient service facilities to provide the finest, patient-focused rehabilitation programs. Our continuum of care philosophy offers a vast range of services and benefits from hospitalization to outpatient programs with a “therapeutic community” which focuses on self and peer accountability.

Turning Point specializes in the treatment of dually-diagnosed clients, those who struggle with substance abuse as well as a psychiatric disorder. We also have the flexibility to develop programs for our patients who may need regular dialysis treatment.

Southwest Georgia National Alliance on Mental Illness Partnership

Turning Point is a proud partner of the Southwest Georgia Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). For several years, we have served as the Gold Sponsor of the Southwest Georgia NAMI Walk fundraiser. Many of our clinicians have presented at local NAMI meetings and we focus a good deal of our staff fundraising efforts on support for our local chapter.

Colquitt County Accountability Court

Turning Point works closely with the Colquitt County Accountability Court to provide treatment as an alternative for incarceration for non-violent drug offenders within the Colquitt County court system. By diverting appropriate candidates for this program from prison to Turning Point, Colquitt County has been able to provide a path to rehabilitation for several citizens.

It’s Never Too Late

Turning Point provides a full continuum of care, from inpatient through to outpatient, for adults struggling with chemical dependency, acute psychiatric disorders or a dual diagnosis of both. Our intake and admissions department accepts referrals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To make a referral or request an assessment, call 800-342-1075.
